Comprehensive Psychiatry

At Sound Choice Mental Health, we believe in the power of human connection.  Your first visit will be in person at our Lacey, WA office.
During your initial psychiatric evaluation, we take time to understand your mental health history and current symptoms to create a personalized treatment plan. When needed, we conduct a detailed differential screening to deepen our understanding and fine tune your care.

We offer individualized psychopharmacology, evidence-based psychotherapy, and, when appropriate, complementary treatments ensuring your care is safe, holistic, and effective. Our approach supports your physical, emotional, and social well-being, with a focus on delivering compassionate mental health care.

Concurrent Psychotherapy

At Sound Choice Mental Health, we believe that combining psychotherapy with medication management leads to more effective and lasting outcomes than relying on either treatment alone.
Our compassionate and highly skilled therapists are here to support you through significant emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. Whether you're navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, or other mental health concerns, we offer personalized care rooted in evidence-based practices.

We understand the courage it takes to seek help, and we’re honored to walk alongside you on your journey. Our team is dedicated to helping you break through emotional barriers, foster meaningful change, and experience true healing. Serving the communities of Lacey, Olympia, and surrounding areas, we provide thoughtful, integrated mental health care that empowers you to make sound choices for your well-being.

Pharmacogenetic testing is a powerful tool that helps personalize your mental health treatment by tailoring medication choices to your unique genetic profile.
At Sound Choice Mental Health, we use Genomind® pharmacogenetic testing to identify medications that are more likely to be effective and less likely to cause unwanted side effects. This advanced testing improves safety, reduces the trial-and-error process, and helps our providers find the right medication faster, especially for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, or other psychiatric conditions.

By understanding how your body metabolizes different medications, we can make more informed decisions about your psychopharmacology plan, leading to better outcomes and fewer complications. The majority of the cost for Genomind testing is typically covered by insurance, making this innovative approach accessible to most patients.

Choice Mental Health is committed to offering cutting-edge, personalized mental health care that supports your journey toward healing and wellness.

SPRAVATO

Spravato® (esketamine) is a breakthrough medication for adults living with treatment-resistant depression—one of the first new FDA-approved depression therapies in decades.
